Reductive nose with a creamy, nutty mineral core, followed through on a honeyed, creamy, toasted palate with apple and peach. Persistent mid-palate and a long, oaky finish. Refined, balanced and elegant, a lighter style with good length and Burgundian typicity. Drink 2026-2035/38.

Love the familiarity of the reductive notes: cereal prawns, curry leaf, "gam hiong" stir-fry fish. Undertones of baked lemon and apple tartlets with that hint of popcorn-like toast and butter. Generous fruit and flavour weight on the palate, accompanied by a bright, lively and juicy minerality. A clean, lingering finish that is toasty and refreshing with citrus peel.

Deep yellow colour suggesting age. It has a linear nose and a tomato leaf stem crunch on the nose and palate, which I really enjoy. The mid-palate has density, with a creamy texture and buttery contribution with some oak tannin, reminiscent of local butter cake. The finish is delicate, but the buttery oak and minerality carry it. A little more length would lift it further.

The wine is intense with pleasant flint and struck match aromas with honeyed apricots and dried mangoes. It is dry with vibrant and crisp acidity keeping the wine ever lively. It's giving so much of dried mango flavours that remind me of home, and at the same time a smoky touch intertwined with the fruits. There's that almost bitter almond coming through in the finish, but overall a good wine.
